Record requests

What to do when someone demands records. This page does not answer the demand.

This is a product rule. It is not legal advice, and an attorney has not approved it.
The app has no special login for law enforcement.
Public pages show public-record research. Notes you typed are not published on this page.
When a request arrives, write down who asked, the date, and what they asked for. Keep that note.
Do not delete records to hide them.
Do not send the database, a spreadsheet of people, or a contact list because someone asked in email or chat.
Do not call or text anyone from the app about the request. The app cannot send that message.
An attorney should review the request before any reply that goes beyond pointing at a public page.
This page does not accept uploads and does not email anyone.
